Happy Friday Everyone.
Today's "Fun Fact Friday" is about an awesome Florida native wildflower called Spiderwort, Tradescantia ohiensis.
Did you know that Spiderwort is edible? Basically the entire plant can be eaten. From the flowers all the way down to the tuberous roots. The Native Americans commonly ate this plant and it even was used for certain medicinal purposes. Check out the video for more details.
