2. It can tolerate mowing - meaning it is a great green mulch
3. It fixes nitrogen into the soil (like most legumes)

Keep in mind, this plant has an agressive growth habit. This means it can spread outside of its desired area. It can spread by other underground roots and by above ground runners.
