Cranberry Hisbiscus is an edible perennial shrub with a leggy growth habit. The leaves are edible and have a cranberry or tart flavor. It can be a great addition to a salad or used in stir-fry. The leaves also add color to your dish. 
It can reach heights of more than 8 feet but tends to fall over from winds and shallow roots. Pruning can encourage bushier growth. We recommend pruning each time you intend to harvest instead of just removing leaves. This will help train the plant for better harvests. 
Pink flowers can bloom most of the year but are more predominant in the fall and winter.
