This is a Florida Native Wildflower. It is a shortlived perennial that can self seed. Eventually, if conditions are right, it will propagate itself in clusters. It grows best in moist soils along wetlands. It does not tolerate drought well. Not only does it attract pollinators, it also provides a much needed food sources to wildlife through its seeds.
