Sunshine Mimosa is a FL native ground cover ideal for any garden. Not only does it have pretty pink flowers, but it is a legume helping to add nitrogen into the soil. Touching it's tiny green leaves causes them to "close" giving it another name - Sensitive plant. May go somewhat dormant in the colder months. Can be mowed tall. Prolific spreader through rhizomes and may end up in areas you did not intend it to.
